Timothy Plus Alfalfa is one of our ideal performance horse blends. Made of a 70/30 blend of timothy alfalfa hay, this blend supplies muscles with slow release energy during exercise and competitions. Our blend of timothy alfalfa hay is easy to digest thanks to the highly digestible nature of timothy and the ulcer buffering property of alfalfa. Like all our blends, our timothy alfalfa hay, Timothy Plus Alfalfa, is high-temperature dried to lock in nutrients lost during the traditional field drying process and eliminate mold and dust. Bagged for your convenience, our timothy alfalfa hay is less mess for easy travel.
